~AN AWARD~
GOD BLESS
I WANT TO SHARE THIS WITH::
Green Monkey Tales, D.D. @ Dazee Dreamer ,Angie @ Like Shes Somebody, Shelia @ Opto mom and Grace @ Looks Good Naked! I don't have your address, but the above so will leave a message on your page! Take care and have a GREAT week/weekend!
Everyone of these fellow Bloggers have a Story to tell. They all are different with different life stories and experiences. I can visit their Blogs and experience all emotions, but no matter what is going on in their life they find a way to find humor in it! If not humor then ~peace~! If not peace then ~acceptance~...it all goes hand in hand! We don't have to agree on what everyone writes, but the fact that we can be open minded and accept one anothers flaws, sadness, rewards, illnesses, life experiences and HAPPY moments is what makes this forum and you special (=

~SECONDS~
Do you stop to help someone who has dropped something, open a door for someone, let a person go ahead of you in line, give someone directions?! You get the picture.......IF you hadn't stopped to do one of the above would you have met that special someone? Found a great deal? Met that best-friend? IF you walked on by and didn't help did you miss the opportunity to meet one of the above or meet a future boss or contact?!
I always wonder about that and I always try to be helpful, but I'm not perfect so a commercial of that nature makes me think! Did I miss that contact, special person or conversation? I guess the older I get and the more life experiences I face the more I ~wonder~?!
As I said in my last post, I tend to have ''that face'' that people come up to for directions, money or just to talk! I don't think I look a certain way , but they must see something I don't. Peoples stories fascinate me, their life and why they chose the roads they did! Maybe that's ~the look~ I have lol ....that I need to understand the universe and what makes people tick ?! Maybe because I question the decisions Ive chosen in my life at times it tends to make me wonder ~what if~!
I also believe that's where faith comes in and we are not ment to know the ~what ifs!~ Only our God knows ~what if~ and we just have to accept that or we're suppose to with Blind Faith. Due to our life situation at the moment, I have alot of questions and most will never be answered ! I live with curiosity, but try to live without any regrets!
So, until the next post maybe we should all try to think about that ~next second~ and make the best of it....The Good ,The Bad,The Ugly AND The Unknown! Much love my Blogging Friends!

..................TO BE CONTINUED!
My husband had brain surgery to remove a tumor 2 weeks ago today. As I said this was all a shock to us....we had no idea he was sick other than kidney stones. In spite of the fact that Good Shepard Medical Center almost killed him...I'M SERIOUS!, I finally ~forced~ them to transfer him to UT S Western Zale Lipshy, in Dallas where they brought him back to life and performed the brain surgery flawlessly!
We are now in the process of being set up for treatment at UT S. Western Zale for his radiation/chemo. They are said to be as good as M D Anderson and he feels comfortable there sooo.............I pray they are! He has the ~C~ word. At this point I'm not ready to go into detail until he and I know exactly what we are dealing with! I may start a separate blog just on this ,his recovery and the road we will be traveling in the process!
We have 2 sons, been together 32 of my 47yrs on this earth and he is my rock...our rock! We are devastated and hopeful at the same time! If any of you out here have experienced this kind of tumor glioblastoma or know someone who has please put them in contact with me! His is a rare form so it cant be treated like a reg grade3-4....its all a guessing game and Im actually ok with that! Why?? Because a grade 4 is not a good out come and with his it has alittle of all, so its not fast growing and thats awsum!!! My head is full and swimming of what to do...the best thing for us to do???!!!!
Thank you for your support and I appreciate all who will share this journey with us and give me advice, support or a sounding board! God Bless Roxs

~Sizzling Sunday and Pending Monday~
So before some freak out on me-NO-I dont encourage it, but I would never discourage it either. We have a close family and we love their long time girlfriends. We all know each others limits so we try not to go too far!
As I said in my last post, this is a small house and we are forced to always be around each other if home! It gets difficult at times, but I wouldnt give it up for the world. I can go next door (our store room is bigger than our house and was an old church pews and all!) where I put the office, tanning bed etc and chill to get away from the ruckus lol They can go over there to get away from us also so it works!
I also realize with talks of engagements pending with both by the end of the year and Bridal magazines thrown around the house in every corner this scenero will be over soon enough. Maybe thats why I enjoy my weekends with my ~CREW~ as I call them! I am reluctlently letting go more and more everyday, although I tell them I have.......I havent!
I never realized just how much ~I~ needed them until they were all I had! I always prided myself on allowing them to grow, make their own mistakes and be their own person. Their Dad and I in the back ground if needed watching, waiting, congratulating, cheering on and consoling if need be!
This sizzling Sunday my oldest spent the weekend at his G.F.s families in another town. Its quiet when hes not here. God has blessed me with this time with him. He moved back home shortly after our house burnt and drove back and forth to College. Four days a week he drove a 120 miles round trip, he said he wanted to be back home around his family! The thought of us not being here really freaked him out! I laugh and say God brought him back home so Id get sick of another grown man (21-23) living at home and I could deal when they moved out for good! I REALLY do believe this!
My youngest and I did College stuff this weekend on the computer trying to get him registered etc His laugh is so intoxicating I love to hear it! It makes a bad day seem not so bad! Its makes a good day GREAT! His G.F. would marry tomorrow, so I have spent alot of time explaining the importance of school and being prepared! Who knows if it sunk in, but at least this small house presents the ability to hear and see more so I can help or at least put my 10cents in!
Sizzling Sundays are the day that slows the weekend down, brings us all together to prepeare for the week to come and always open the door for discusssion of ~something~. Its family meal day, the day everyone slows down long enough to stick around and watch a movie together, grill,do some house/yard work and just have a visit! I love it and I hope when they are married going thru the hussle and bussel of life they look back and remember this time together with a smile! I hope they take away from the experience that family is what counts and everthing else is secondary.
I can only say a prayer that they feel as Blessed as I do! Who knows what next weekend will bring, but I do know next Sunday will be a family day full of stories, laughter, arguing(they are boys),schedules for the pending week, but most of all unity........~ A Family That Prays And Plays Together Stays Together~

The New Generation
Then you turn 20, in your 20's -40 seemed ancient! You couldn't imagine EVER being 40! How does someone that age even get around? Im sure they need help!
Around the corner you hit 30 and your starting to rethink what you thought about the 30s and 40s. BUT, still 50ish is Senior discounts in resturant age....damn that's old! How do they get out of bed? Speaking of bed, dont they go to bed at 6 and get up with the roosters?
OMG, now you are 40! The big 4-0! 50' not looking too old now, but 60 is decrepit. What a difference 10yrs would make. Surly people of THAT age have no fun and wouldn't DARE dream of that word''sex''! EWWWWW yuck surely they would never do that! Stop my brain from having a mental picture!
Then you hit 50 and you hear 50 is the new 30 or 20 or what ever bullshit it is they say! Now your not even worried about 60! You made it to 50 anything over that HAS to be a bonus! That's what I hear anyway, so I am rounding the 50 mark in a few years and my husband is in a few mths. I believed all those myths above!
I have come to realize its all B.S.! You are at any age what you put into it! Happiness, disappointments the up and downs of life at ALL ages makes the next decade another challenge. Yes, each stage of life SHOULD be simpler, but not always. IF it is consider it a gift from above!
Maybe 50 will be my new 20 or 30 , God knows that would be a blessing that I would take and run hard and fast with! I plan on doing all I can with this gift of life and my desire to do more and more increases with age. I feel settled in my relationships and blessed in my life. Struggles are not uncommon, but more easily delt with and processed.
So, the next time you see that ''Old Person'' remember by the Grace of God you too will be them! What a Glorious day that will be...............live-love-laugh means more to me these days! Now my friends I am on the cuspid of that ''The New Generation'' and am Proud to be here and looking forward to my Senior discounts one day!!
